What do you love most about the business?
I have been in the hair and beauty industry for over 20 years and love to help people feel and look beautiful. I love the connection I get to make with people daily and being creative on top of that is the icing on the cake.
Greatest Inspiration?
It would be impossible to narrow it down to one person who has inspired me during my career; but two mentors in particular taught me to truly love and appreciate running a business and leading a team. I also had the privilege to work with some of the most talented people in the hair industry, including Michele Canale who was known for Jennifer Aniston's hair colour 20 years ago. I have worked with many different hair companies and amazing, seasoned stylists who have taught me so much. I worked for two women that taught me to truly love and appreciate running a business and leading a team.
Why do you love Organic products so much?
There is so much focus now on eating healthy and living a clean lifestyle, which I believe is so important but I feel like the hair and beauty industry has been slow to embrace this and even good brands are still chemical laden which day in and day out I was applying to my clients’ scalp and skin. When I started researching "low tox' and organic products I was able to source incredible brands for hair, skin, and makeup and that is when I decided to open my business and share our clean Beauty journey with our community. We are also a part of Sustainable Salons so not only are our products organic with recycled packaging but we are able to recycle everything we use in our salon that is not already biodegradable. We are doing our part to save the planet and keep chemicals away from us and our beautiful clients.
