A Local’s Guide to Wine Tasting in Margaret River

Private Wine Tours (Highly Recommended)

For guests who prefer to relax and enjoy the day without worrying about driving, private wine tours are one of the best ways to experience the region.

We regularly recommend booking a private driver or tailored wine tour through the Margaret River and Yallingup areas. It allows you to visit multiple cellar doors at your own pace, enjoy long lunches, and discover a few hidden gems along the way without rushing or planning logistics.

It’s an effortless way to experience the region properly, especially for groups, celebrations, or a special stay.

A Local Tip

We usually suggest two to four wineries in a day, with one long lunch booked in advance. Leave space in your day as the South West is best enjoyed slowly!
